# Turnaround times and due dates

Each job has a due date, and the job page shows how it's tracking:

| Indicator | Meaning |
| ------------ | --------------------------------------- |
| **On track** | The provider is working and within time |
| **Due soon** | 2 days or less remain |
| **Overdue** | The due date has passed |

## When the clock runs

The clock starts once the provider has accepted the job and your payment has gone through. It runs while the provider is working, including on a revision, and pauses while it's your turn, for example while you review a delivery.

On the case, the clock also pauses while a provider is waiting for information from you.

The date you enter for **When do you need this case by?** sets the case's due date.
