# Posting an open job request

Post a job to the Marketplace when you want providers to come to you.

## Post a request

1. Open the case and add a job.
2. Choose **Post to Marketplace**.
3. Enter a job title, a description, the job type (Design / Treatment Planning, Consultation / Review, or Manufacturing / Production) and your deadline.
4. Post it. Approved providers can see it and respond.

## Choose a provider

Providers respond with their proposal. Review the responses on the job, decline the ones that don't fit, and select the provider you want. You'll then be asked to complete payment. See [What you pay and when](/help/client-guide/what-you-pay-and-when.md).

You can cancel an open request any time before you've selected a provider.

Selecting a provider from an open request doesn't add them to your hired providers. To work with them again directly, send them a hire request. See [Finding and hiring a provider](/help/client-guide/finding-and-hiring-a-provider.md).
