# Getting your case manufactured

Once treatment is confirmed, production files are released and the case can be manufactured. There are three ways to do it.

| Route | How it works | Payment |
| --------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------- |
| **In-house** | Your own lab manufactures. Turn this on in **Profile**, under **Manufacturing Preferences** | No payment through CaseBench |
| **An external manufacturer you invite** | A manufacturing partner you already use. See below | You pay them directly, outside CaseBench |
| **A manufacturer from the Marketplace** | An approved CaseBench manufacturer | Through CaseBench, like any job |

Some providers offer design and manufacturing as one service. In that case the manufacturing job is created for you and starts once treatment is confirmed and production files are ready.

## Inviting your own manufacturer

1. Go to **Manufacturers** and click **Invite Manufacturer**.
2. Fill in their details.
3. Copy the invite link and send it to them yourself. CaseBench doesn't email it for you.

Once they've set up their account, you can send them manufacturing jobs. They only see the jobs you send them: no prices, payments or Marketplace.

## Following production

The manufacturer moves the job through production and adds tracking details when it ships. You'll see each update on the job.

If there's a problem with the production files, click **Report Production Issue**.

## Confirming delivery

When the order arrives, click **Confirm Delivery**. For a Marketplace manufacturer, this releases their payment.

If you don't confirm, delivery is confirmed automatically: 5 working days after the expected delivery date the manufacturer entered (and never sooner than 5 working days after shipping), or 10 working days after shipping if there's no expected date. If something's wrong with the order, raise it before then.
