# Approve, confirm treatment and complete

Approving work and completing a job are separate steps. **The provider is paid when the job is complete, not when you approve.**

## Design, treatment planning and CAD design jobs

| Step                              | Who                    | What it means                                                                                                                                    |
| --------------------------------- | ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| 1. **Approve Work**               | You                    | You've checked the plan and you're happy with its quality                                                                                        |
| 2. Clinician review               | Your invited clinician | Only on cases a clinician submitted. Click **Submit to Invited Clinician** instead of Approve Work, and they approve the plan or ask for changes |
| 3. **Confirm Treatment Accepted** | You                    | The plan will go ahead. This unlocks production files                                                                                            |
| 4. Production files               | Provider               | The provider uploads production files and marks them ready                                                                                       |
| 5. **Mark as Complete**           | You                    | The job is finished and payment is released to the provider                                                                                      |

## Other digital jobs

For jobs like file cleanup or conversion, the delivered file is the finished product. Approve the work, then click **Mark as Complete**.

## Leaving a review

After a job is finished, you'll be asked to review the provider before you continue. Reviews help other clients choose, and they count towards the provider's standing on CaseBench.
